Shopping Related Information

Shopping can be a lot of fun in China. There are many wonderful things to buy in China, and the price could be very competitive. China has a lot of populations and Chinese love to shop, so Chinese markets are often very crowded. Most of the times you could bargain the price of the merchandise, except the large state-run department stores are usually fixed-price. Hard bargaining could often result in large discounts when you shop in Chinese markets. If you are unsure of the Chinese language of the things that you want to buy, you could always use the trick of pointing and saying “zhè” (this) or “nà” (that).
